As usual Joey and Dawson are watching movies. Dawson turns
the movie off and they discuss how people can be superficial
but Dawson says women are attracted to romance above all else.
Joey points out that Dawson hasn't had sex with him. Dawson
puts the movie back on, they watch it in silence.
Roll opening titles. At school is everyone running around
and Joey is giving a presentation in class. She keeps getting
interrupted. Later Dawson sees Jen talking to Pacey. He seems
worried after Joey said last night Pacey has bigger biceps
then him. Pacey leaves and Dawson compliments Jen, Jen suggests
they do something wild at the weekend.
In the locker room Dawson continues his investigation into
what Jen and Pacey were laughing about. Dawson isn't happy
about Pacey mentioning his nickname. In class the teacher
has something out for Jen. Jen speaks out and she is shot
down, he seems to really hate New Yorkers. He gives her Saturday
detention.
Grant continues to annoy Joey. Joey beats the crab out of
him. In the gym the guys prepare to play basketball while
the cheerleaders practice in the background. Pacey talks Dawson
into a one on one game but Dawson isn't happy. Dawsom storms
off. Pacey calls him back but insults him and Dawson pelts
him in the bed with the ball. The cheerleaders' crowd round
him. The coach gives him Saturday detention.
Next day Dawson and Jen head into detention. They come in
to find Pacey already there. Next Abbie Morgan comes in complaining
about detention. The teacher gives them a speech when Joey
arrives. The librarian threatens them that if they misbehave
they will spend the rest of the time stacking books.
Abbie starts questioning them on why they are here. Joey
and Jen are cold, as are Dawson and Pacey. Joey admits why
she is here and they question Abbie. She comes up with the
words ecstasy and orgy but says no more. The time continues
to tick away and Dawson points out that this is just like
the Breakfast Club.
Time continues and they head off to the bathroom. Later Abbie
suggests that they play truth or dare. Abbie dares Pacey to
kiss Jen on the lips. They try to get out of it but Joey tells
them to do it and they do. Dawson doesn't say anything. Pacey
dares Joey to kiss Dawson and they eventually follow through
also.
Joey challenges Jen and asks her who she is most physically
attracted to. Jen suggests Joey needs to spend less time dwelling
on her and Dawson. Dawson challenges everyone to a jail break.
Jen leads them to the photocopier and each of them photocopy
their ass. Then they play "kiss my butt." Pacey
and Dawson argue with each other and they end up going for
a basketball rematch.
Jen tells Dawson not to do it but Dawson is determined. The
game begins and they are quite eventually matched. Joey puts
another dig in at Jen and Jen says she is giving up trying
to be nice to her. Abbie points out she is in love with Joey
but Joey denies it. Pacey and Dawson continue to play while
Jen and Joey talk about the problems. Abbie shouts at them
to get back to the library while Dawson scores a basket.
They all run back to get to the library but find Mrs. Tringle
standing outside. Mrs. Tringle empties a box of stuff onto
the floor and tells them to sort it. Everyone gathers round
except Abbie. They finally finish but Abbie steals the glory
but Mrs. Tringle reveals that Abbie was really here because
of her lates.
Dawson and Joey get their problems with each other out in
the open. Pacey finally admits why he is in here. He gets
them to swear they don't tell but Abbie has her fingers crossed.
Pacey tells the story of how we got caught jacking off in
the bathroom. Dawson says he thinks Jen doesn't want him but
Jen says she loves him more than anything.
Dawson, Jen and Pacey all make up but Joey is still cold.
Dawson says that she will find the right person but she says
that she is in love with him but can't say it. Dawson suggests
she gets it out in the open but is interrupted by Mrs. Tringle
saying they can go home. Fade to credits.
