Episode Guide
Joey and Dawson are watching movie. They flick onto the news
and see that there is a hurricane and that school classes
at Capeside are cancelled tomorrow. Dawson says he would rather
go to bed night, but Joey tells him he has to deal with his
mother's affair sometime. Joey heads home out of the window.
Roll opening credits. The town is boarding up windows and
packing things away as the wind continues to pick up. Gale
gets off the phone after being told she can't cover the hurricane.
Dawson comes in well prepared. Mitch goes next door to invite
Jen and family to ride out the storm here.
Dawson makes hints towards his mother about her affair, she
realises he knows. Pacey is helping his brother Doug under
his dads order. They argue and it's mentioned that their father
is the chief of police in Capeside. Bessie and her boyfriend
argue about whether the kid is being circumcised. Joey suggest
they go to Dawson's.
Pacey sees Tamara securing her house. Doug tries hitting
on her but Pacey tries to shoot him down. Jen and her grandmother
arrive. Jen's grandfather is back in the hospital. Dawson
is cold towards Jen but says that it isn't because of her.
Dawson overhears Gale talking on the phone to Bob. Later Gale
asks to talk with him.
Gale tries to explain to Dawson but Dawson says she should
be explaining to Mitch. Dawson bitches to Jen about his parents.
He makes a comment about Jen and she storms off. She opens
the closet to find Joey sitting in there again. Joey suggests
that Dawson is grateful he has a mother. On the news Bob is
reporting. There is tension between Evelyn and Bodie. Gale
talks to Joey.
Pacey and Doug are staying with Tamara and arguing over her.
Doug goes outside to find out what smashed while Pacey tells
Tamara that Doug is gay but everyone is denial. They sneak
a kiss while Doug is outside. He comes back in to find they
have wiped everything off the table. Gale and Dawson surround
Mitch to have a talk. Gale confesses then the power goes out.
Mitch talks about batteries and sends Dawson into the other
room.
Mitch gets angry and knock offer a chair. Evelyn comes in
and asks if everything is ok. At Tamara's house, Doug suggests
they play the if game. Bodie confronts Evelyn about her prejustice
towards them. Joey and Jen meet outside; Joey is watching
Mitch sitting in the car. Evelyn talks to Dawson and says
everyone deserves a second chance.
Tamara, Pacey and Doug have moved on to Monopoly but Tamara
and Doug are still discussing there favourite musicals. Doug
asks her out on a real date. Tamara says she knows he is gay.
However he denies it. Doug pulls a gun out on Pacey and Pacey
finally tells Tamara he is not gay.
Gale gets into the car to talk with Mitch. Mitch remembers
back to when they first met and he describes his love at first
sight. Mitch says that he has chosen not to love her any more
and tells her to get out of the car. She gets out and Mitch
drives off. Next day the hurricane has changed direction and
left Capeside.
Doug and Pacey help Tamara take down the boards and Doug
says that he would still like to take her out but Tamara says
she is seeing someone. Dawson looks over at his mother before
going inside to find Jen there. Jen admits she lost her virginity
at 12 and got caught having sex in his parents bed. Dawson
says that it is his fault and they make up.
Pacey returns to see Tamara. Tamara tells him that they are
going to have to end this eventually. Mitch arrives home and
talks to Gale. Gale tells him that her life was perfect but
she got restless. Dawson goes back inside and apologises to
Joey. Dawson and Joey back into the closet to play their childhood
games.

The wind is really picking up, yet Joey still insists on using
that ladder.
