Joey and Dawson are watching an old movie. Joey tells Dawson that he should just go for it and kiss Jen. Dawson says that he wants his kiss to be Jen to be just like a movie. Joey says it is can't happen that way. Joey climbs out the window. Roll title credits. In film class they discuss what to do with the film. Dawson watches on and tells them they need to create dramatic tension and be about the underdog.

Pacey sees Tamara after class and says that he is failing and needs to put in more work. Pacey says that he needs a little extra tutorial. She tells Pacey to meet her here at around 6. Pacey looks pleased with himself. More generic Capeside shows, Dawson rides in on his bike. Dawson tells Pacey he will be allowed in the film class officially if he passes the test. Joey arrives and sits down with them.

Dawson says he is going to shoot the final scene up at the ruins although Joey reminds him that it is trespassing. Pacey orders but Joey is busy eyeing up a guy. Later Dawson is doing random jobs on the film set. Jen turns up in a cheerleading outfit and says Cliff gave her a part.

On his "date" Pacey is pretending to read but starts questioning Tamara about her school life. She gives Pacey some summary questions and says she might give him some positive reinforcement if he answers them all. Joey is taking out trash when she hears music and follows the sound. She finds the guy she saw earlier playing the violin. He introduces himself as Anderson.

Joey pretends she is doesn't live in Capeside and Anderson invites her to come sailing with him. She agrees and introduces herself as Debra Carson. Tamara begins questioning Pacey. Nelly and Dawson get into an argument and Dawson does not look happy. Pacey seems to come up with a good answer. Pacey keeps trying to get some but Tamara refuses. Eventually she tells him they should do it right here on her desk. Pacey freaks out. Pacey leaves after telling her it might be right to do the wrong thing.

Joey walks down to the dock side to meet Anderson. She talks to him about boarding school and how she goes to school in New York. They take the boat out and afterwards they play on the beach. Anderson says honesty is the most important quality he looks for. In the film the script really sucks. Nelly insults the cameraman and Dawson offers a tip but Nelly tells him to shut up half way through. She sends him to get more tapes.

On his way he talks to Jen and asks her why she is here. She tells him it was because she knew he would be here. Anderson tries to convince Joey the JFK assassination was not a conspiracy. They play on the beach and Anderson goes in for a kiss but Joey turns away. Joey tells him she has to go and that she is not Cinderella.

On the film set they are constantly retaking it, Pacey arrives on set. Dawson offers to be the camerman. Nelly tries to stop him but Cliff gives him a chance and love the take. Later Jen talks to Dawson in the café and Joey serves them. She sees Anderson approaching and she joins them, pretending she is not working here. Dawson kind of spoils it. Jen makes a good recovery though and saves Joey (a.k.a. Debra). Joey agrees to meet up with Anderson later.

Pacey comes in to find Tamara chatting to Mr Gold. He offers to walk her home and she agrees. She goes to get her things and Pacey confronts her. Tamara tells her stop this. Next day Dawson and Jen arrive at the shooting location and Dawson tells her the story behind it. Dawson sticks on some music and sets up the camera. Jen does the acting bit and Dawson says that it was perfect.

Dawson moves in for the kiss but Jen stops him when she sees the monitor for the camera. Joey heads down to the dockside to see Anderson who says that he is leaving tomorrow. He givers her his number and they kiss. She leaves. Meanwhile Jen isn't happy about Dawson video taping them. Dawson says he wanted to make the moment perfect. He rambles on. Joey realises she has blown in when she gets in the car and leaves Anderson's number on the floor as they drive off.

Dawson packs his stuff away but someone arrives and they head off to hide. It is Pacey and Tamara. Dawson and Jen finally share a kiss meanwhile the camera which appears still to be rolling catches Pacey and Tamara getting it on. Fades to credits.

I don't really see why Joey made all that stuff up. I mean, would he really have not been interested in here if she had admitted she was from Capeside in the first place?
