Review
Cool episode. I finally learned where one of the final
clips from the Channel 4 trailer comes from when they
all walk up. It must be somewhere cool and exciting
I thought. But no, it's school. Still it was good to
see them all together.
Over than that I thought the storylines seemed to revolve
around a lot and never really stayed fixed. A bit distorted.
Definatly a decent episode though.

Sandy: "Oh the Summer flu, I just got it"

Julie: "Maybe you deserve to go to jail"
Seth: "It's like Luke Skywalker and Darth Vader

Episode Guide
Opens with big aerial shots over the coastline. Seth
is dancing around but has a fever by the time he makes
it into the kitchen. Ryan suggests he may have the Summer
flu and may need some Annbionics. Kirsten comes in and
Ryan and Sandy tells them they both have to go out.
Opening credits.
In class they are divided into teams of two do to presentations
which to count towards their final grade. Ryan is drawn
with Luke. Marissa is drawn with Marcy. Sandy tells
Jimmy he has to sell the house to pay the debts by January
1st. Summer talks to Kirsten in the bathroom but when
she comes out she finds Anna there.
Anna comes out with Summer and they bump into Seth.
They pretend they are friends and that they are hanging
out. Meanwhile Kirsten turns up and tries to dismiss
talk of her being drunk. She tells Julie she should
start acting like a friend. Ryan turns up at Luke's
house to do their project on the Spanish Inquisition.
They go up to Luke's room and Luke goes through all
the high tech presentation crap he has. Ryan has a text
book and writing pad. Julie gets a call from Jimmy telling
her that he has to sell the house. Jimmy suggests that
she moves in with her mother or Caleb but Julie refuses.
Luke and Ryan need a car so Ryan shows him one of the
cars in the showroom that looks amazing. Luke sees his
dad and his business partner hugging and kissing. Luke
tries to leave but runs into a car and sets the alarm
off. They grab the stuff and run for it. His dad shouts
after him but he is gone.
Marissa comes to see Ryan and asks it how it went with
Luke last night. Marissa asks him how it went but Ryan
said he told Luke he wouldn't tell anyone. Marissa tries
to get him to tell him. They go into the house and Seth
asks Ryan what happened. He won't tell but he has apparently
told Marissa. Seth talks to Marissa about what happened
between Anna and Summer.
Ryan goes up to Luke and suggests they talk but Luke
tells them they have nothing to talk about. Ryan suggests
they do the presentation but Luke says he will finish
it himself. Ryan makes sure Marissa won't let it out
that she told him. Seth goes to talk to Anna but Anna
is cold to him and goes to study with Summer. It is
annoying the hell out of Seth.
Kirsten asks Julie about the house. Julie says she
is not telling. Kirsten says she can get Caleb to find
her a house but Julie tells him that Caleb said he couldn't
do it and they ended their relationship. One of the
women comes in to tell a big secret and gets everyone
to crowd round.
Meanwhile Jimmy has been playing golf with Sandy. Sandy
tells him to sell the house as Julie will come around
eventually. Jimmy apologises for the kiss he and Kirsten
shared but Sandy didn't know about it. Sandy is serious
pissed.
Jimmy gets a call from Kirsten to tell him the big
secret. Summer comes up and tells Seth and Marissa the
secret, Seth rushes off to tell Ryan. Some of the jocks
are making fun of it in the hallway. It is about Luke's
dad. Ryan apologises to Luke but Luke said he was dead.
Ryan confronts Marissa about it but she says she didn't
know about it.
Sandy comes home and confronts Kirsten about the kiss
between Jimmy and Kirsten. Kirsten tells him it means
nothing. At dinner, Seth makes a few jokes about Luke's
dad. The women are debating Luke's dad, Julie and Kirsten
head off for food and beer. In class, Luke does not
turn up. Anna and Summer are hanging out still and Seth
comes up and apologises. They look pleased. Seth leaves
and Anna and Summer split up.
Julie and Kirsten bond over moaning about Caleb's flours.
Summer comes up and asks Seth what he is doing Saturday.
Anna comes up and asks Seth to walk her to class or
something. Anna asks what Summer is doing Saturday night,
Seth admits about his date with Summer. Anna asks him
what he is doing Friday night.
Ryan turns up at Luke's house to find Marissa there.
Luke seems cool with Ryan now as Luke's dad actually
broke the news. Luke's dad comes in and tries to talk
to him but Luke runs off. Later Marissa, Luke and Ryan
are talking. Marissa tells Luke he might get closer
to his dad. She goes to get a jacket. Ryan and Luke
talk. They are approached by two jocks from a rival
soccer team. One calls Luke a faq. Luke and Ryan advance
of them and Luke punches one, knocking him over.
The rest of the football team arrive. Elsewhere Julie
goes to see Kirsten and told her that she had a talk
with Caleb and that he is buying the house for her so
that Jimmy does not have to go to jail, butt hey can
still sell the house and live in it. Sandy is not talking
to Kirsten so gets Seth to ask her his questions.
Luke, Ryan and Marissa arrive back, Ryan is carrying
Luke. Ryan and Marissa go outside to talk and Marissa
tells Ryan he can trust her. They start kissing but
are interrupted when a car pulls up. It is Luke's dad,
Carson. Carson says he should disappear but Sandy tells
him coming out in this town is the bravest thing he
could do. Luke comes down and says he will go with him.
Kirstin comes into the kitchen and makes a joke about
all the porn Sandy has on his computer. Kirsten and
Sandy make up and start kissing. Next day Ryan, Luke,
Marissa and Seth turn up at school together.
