Review
Sandy is a cool guy. But anyway this episode wasn't
too bad. The concert was a nice touch although the storyline
is fairly predictable. I read an article recently though
about one person commenting on this, yet they were still
hucked. I find myself in a similar situation.
I mean it was a choice between watching The O.C. and
Garth Marenghi's Darkplace so you know that this is
good. Guess I am a little low on analysis this episode,
I'm not that happy about Oliver being brought in, in
the first place.

Episode Guide
Opens with some aerial shots. Sandy comes into the kitchen
to find Hailey at the table already eating. Everyone
else crows round. Seth points out that she never leaves
the house. Hailey asks Kirsten to make more coffee and
Kirsten agrees to talk to her. Seth and Ryan head into
the pool house.
Seth says he is going to tell Summer that he and Anna
are dating. Marissa comes in and drags Ryan away. Roll
opening credits. Marissa and Ryan talk about how they
might be spending too much time together but are unable
to spit up anyway. Seth and Anna are studying. Summer
arrives but Seth is unable to tell her. Anna says she
will talk to her but Seth says that he will talk to
her later.
Sandy is helping Jimmy write out a C.V. Hailey comes
in and Jimmy and her reunite. Sandy is still unhappy
about Hailey mooching off of them. Jimmy and Hailey
talk about old times. They seem to be getting along.
Sandy and Kirsten take a moment alone in the kitchen
but are interrupted by Jimmy and Hailey who have arranged
to hang out tomorrow.
Ryan goes up to see Luke. Someone has slashed his tyre.
Ryan offers to help him change the tyre. People are
making comments to him. Ryan invites him back and he
sits around playing console games. Ryan gets a call
from Marissa and invites him over to Oliver's place.
Ryan, Luke and Seth head over.
Oliver suggests that they go snowboarding sometime.
They all agree to go although Ryan is not happy about
it. Seth talks his options over about telling Summer.
Hailey brings up tension between Ryan and Oliver. Sandy
and Kirsten plan what they will do when they have the
house to themselves. Ryan suggests they skip the concert
but Marissa thinks that Ryan is jealous. She says Natalie
is going to be with Oliver.
Sandy talks to Seth about the concert and tells him
that he needs to talk to Summer. They come into the
concert and try to get in but the person on the door
says they haven't heard of Oliver. They eventually find
Oliver out back. Oliver tells them that Natalie isn't
coming tonight. Sandy and Marissa come downstairs to
find Jimmy and Hailey playing operation and watching
Golden Girls. Luke is handed a guitar by Oliver and
he bursts into song. He continues going round handing
out passes and finds Anna telling Seth that he has to
tell Summer.
Luke continues to sing and Summer comes over to Seth.
Anna leaves them to talk. Oliver goes outside and makes
a phone call and tells someone that they were supposed
to send some people ages ago. The concert gets started
and Oliver leads Ryan and Marissa off to get a better
place while Anna and Summer go to the bathroom. A bit
of tension arises between Hailey and Kirsten. Sandy
confronts her and tells she is driving the family crazy.
Hailey storms out and says they won't have to put up
with her for much longer.
In the bathroom Summer and Anna start singing and talking
about the Golden Girls. Does everyone in this town like
it? Jimmy is leaving, Hailey apologises to him. They
sit on the step and talk. Hailey kisses him and they
start getting it on. Jimmy leaves and tells Hailey she
is lucky to have Kirsten and Sandy looking out for her.
At the concert it is in full swing. Ryan pulls Marissa
away and they start kissing. Marissa says they should
stay with Oliver though. Ryan leaves.
Luke seems to be drunk as he is really going for it.
Outside Ryan sees a mugging. However he turns out to
be a cop arresting Oliver. Ryan heads back inside and
talks to Seth. Ryan calls Sandy from the police station.
Seth gets his drinks as the concert ends and Anna comes
up. Seth finally tells Summer about them. Summer seems
cool with it.
Sandy arrives down at the station and tells Ryan that
Oliver is going to be let out. Oliver comes out and
Sandy goes off to finish the paperwork. Oliver thanks
Ryan and tells Ryan he did it because he has no friends,
family, etc. Ryan gets a call from Marissa and gives
it to Oliver to explain to her.
Sandy is making himself a bagel. Hailey comes in and
talks to him. Hailey says all she knows is what she
doesn't want. Sandy gives her half the bagel. Marissa
enters the pool house and climbs into Ryan. Seth, Anna,
Luke and Summer arrive at the pool house but leave them
alone and head inside. They decide to head inside with
everyone else. Outside Oliver is looking in on them.
